GIF Cropper & Resizer
Cut the boring edges off any animated GIF. Drag the crop box over the live preview, lock it to 1:1, 16:9, 9:16 or 4:3, then resize to exact pixel dimensions — all applied to every frame.
How to use
- 1
Drop in your GIF, WebP or APNG.
- 2
Choose an aspect preset and drag the crop box over the subject.
- 3
Optionally type exact output pixels with the aspect lock on.
- 4
Process and download — every frame is cropped identically.

Frequently asked questions
›Does cropping reduce the file size too?
Yes, significantly. GIF stores per-frame pixels, so halving the frame area roughly halves the size before any other compression.
›Can I crop to a non-standard shape?
The Free mode lets you drag any rectangle. Circles and rounded corners need alpha masking — use Remove GIF Background (coming soon) for that.
›Will the animation stay in sync after cropping?
Yes. Cropping changes only pixels, not timing — frame delays are preserved exactly.
›What does the aspect lock do?
When on, typing a width auto-computes the height from your crop (or source) ratio, so the image never stretches.
›Can I upscale a small GIF?
You can, but it won't add detail — the resize uses bilinear interpolation which looks slightly soft. For emoji-making it's usually better to crop tight and downscale.
