1. The short version

QuickGIF's tools run in your browser. Files you compress, crop or convert never leave your device unless you explicitly create a hosted share link.

2. What we collect

• Local processing: nothing — files, frames and results stay in browser memory.
• Hosted sharing (opt-in): the file you choose to publish, a random link ID, and basic request logs.
• Account data (when launched): email, plan, credit balance, usage records.
• Analytics: privacy-friendly, cookieless usage events (tool used, success/failure, sizes) — no file content, no fingerprinting.

3. What we never do

• Sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
• Upload or inspect files you process locally.
• Use tracking cookies or third-party ad scripts on tool pages.

4. Retention

• Hosted links expire per your plan (30 days guest / 90-day rolling free / permanent Pro).
• Temporary AI-task inputs are deleted within 24 hours.
• You can delete hosted content and your account at any time (GDPR/CCPA deletion right).

5. Security & processors

Hosted files live on Cloudflare R2. Payments are handled by our merchant of record (we never see card numbers). AI prompts are sent to our generation provider solely to fulfil the request.

6. Your rights

EEA/UK/California residents may request access, correction, export or deletion of their data at privacy@qkgif.com. The service is not directed at children under 13.
