Terms of Service

Welcome to QuickGIF ("qkgif.com"). By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use QuickGIF. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

2. The service

QuickGIF provides browser-based media tools that run on your device, plus (in later phases) AI generation, hosted links and a public gallery. Local processing never sends your files to our servers.

3. Your content & public display license

  • You retain all rights to content you create or upload.
  • Files processed locally are never uploaded or shared.
  • When you choose to generate a hosted link or share to Explore, you grant QuickGIF a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, publicly display, and distribute that content — including on the public Explore gallery — for as long as the link remains active. Free-tier and guest uploads are public by default.
  • You may delete hosted content at any time; deletion removes it from public display and clears CDN caches.

4. Acceptable use

You may not upload, generate or share content that is:

  • Illegal, including CSAM (zero tolerance — reported to NCMEC), or content exploiting minors;
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery or realistic deepfakes of real people;
  • Hateful, harassing, or inciting violence;
  • Infringing on third-party copyrights, trademarks or publicity rights.

5. AI features

AI-generated output is provided as-is. You are responsible for the prompts you submit and for reviewing generated content before publishing it.

6. Paid plans & refunds

Subscriptions renew until cancelled and remain active to the end of the paid period. Unused credit packs are refundable within 14 days of purchase where required by law.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the last 12 months, or $100 if none.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page before taking effect.
