What we store

QuickGIF uses no tracking cookies. The only browser storage we use is:

• Theme preference (localStorage qk-theme) — remembers dark/light mode. Functional, never sent to a server.
• Site data created by your browser for cached WASM engines — speeds up repeat visits.

Third-party cookies

None on tool pages — we run no ad scripts and no cross-site trackers. When payments launch, the checkout provider may set strictly-necessary session cookies on its hosted pages only.

Managing storage

You can clear site data any time via your browser settings. Clearing it only resets your theme preference and engine caches — nothing else is stored.

Analytics

We use cookieless, aggregate product analytics (event names like file_added, process_completed) with no identifiers, to measure tool reliability.
